President-Elect Kamala Harris is making her international stage debut in Guatemala.
She's there hoping to 'solve' the border crisis. A crisis the administration has made worse and ignored since taking office on January 20th.
Harris saying Monday, 'this is one of our highest priorities,' while in the Northern Triangle country. A trip she's put off because of 'COVID,' as the pandemic has become a convenient excuse for delayed action on securing the southern US border with Mexico.
Harris wasn't welcomed with open arms in Guatemala. She was greeted with protests, many who carried sigs telling Kamala to 'go home,' and 'mind your own business.'
With one 'Trump won' sign.
Come on, that's funny.
Meanwhile, Guatemala's president, Alejandro Giammattei, blames President Joe Biden for causing thousands of Guatemalans to head north.
Giammattei said (from the New York Post),
(Giammattei) and Harris “are not on the same side of the coin” on migration.
“We asked the United States government to send more of a clear message to prevent more people from leaving,” Giammattei said.
“The message changed too: ‘We’re going to reunite families, we’re going to reunite children,’” he said. “The very next day, the coyotes were here organizing groups of children to take them to the United States.”
Here's what America is going to realize. Biden isn't capable of solving this problem and Kamala Harris doesn't have 'it.' It, as in, the wow factor. She doesn't have what it takes to lead. Not on immigration nor any other issue. 'It' just isn't there.
