The dignified transfer is one of the most solemn events in America. Soldier's remains who have been killed overseas arrive at Dover Air Force Base in American Flag draped caskets. The caskets arrive on a C-17 where a 7-member team carefully carries each one off the cargo jet.
Presidents often attend to remind them of the cost of their decisions.
The cost of American lives, service members who volunteered to serve their country.
Sunday morning the remains of soldiers arrived home after being killed by a suicide bomber at the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan. They lost their lives protecting Americans and Afghanis after President Biden withdraw all American forces from Afghanistan so quickly he had to send more troops back into Afghanistan to help Americans and Afghanis flee Taliban rule.
And Biden checked his watch as our brave men and women who lost their lives returned home. Note he checked the time while his hand was over his heart. Incredible, isn't it?
