The Lab Leak Theory Cover-Up.

Discussions about the origins of SARS-COV-2 are becoming more clear. Thanks to an email release the House Oversight Committee City Journal is digging into. Here are the key takeaways.

In January 2020, before the full-blown pandemic was happening in the United States, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Francis Collins, Kristian G. Andersen and Michael Farzan of Scripps Research Institute, Edward Holmes of the University of Sydney, and Robert Garry of Tulane University were engaged in an email discussion regarding the theory of COVID being engineered in a lab. From City Journal:

Andersen reported to Fauci that “after discussions earlier today, Eddie, Bob, Mike and myself all find the genome inconsistent with expectations from evolutionary theory.”

The group was focused on the furin cleveage site.

A member of the Andersen group, Garry of Tulane University, remarks in the latest emails on the fact that the inserted furin cleavage site, a string of 12 units of RNA, the virus’s genetic material, was exactly the required length, a precision unusual in nature: “I just can’t figure out how this gets accomplished in nature . . . it’s stunning. Of course, in the lab it would be easy to generate the perfect 12 base insert that you wanted.”

Others agreed, in January, with one of the scientists suggesting it was 60-70% likely COVID-19 was created in a lab.

By February 4, 2020 the official narrative had changed. Dr. Collins, head of the National Institutes of Health, saw to it. He wanted to make the lab leak theory a conspiracy theory the media would quickly rule out. Why? Because if true, the lab leak theory would ruin the reputations of both Collins and Fauci because they are on record so called gain of function research. The two supported taxpayer funding the practice of advancing a virus in a lab to potentially make it more deadly so science could learn from it.

Imagine if the headlines read: COVID19 Linked To US Taxpayer Funded Lab In Wuhan, China.

It's much different than: COVID19 Lab Leak An Unfounded Conspiracy Theory.

In the course of the past two years, we have learned at least one thing, the squashing of the lab leak theory was deliberate, despite an internal discussion by the very people who dismissed that COVID could have originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The very people who created the official government response to COVID may have been the very people who caused the pandemic. In other words they lied. Most of the time liars lie to protect themselves, especially if their reputations are at stake. Think about what the lab leak theory would lead to, investigations into Fauci and Collins' funding of gain of function research. And it could have been devastating to the public trust in 'science.'

Trust that would have been shattered in science is this virus was manufactured in a lab. These public health policy officials openly discussed this as a realistic possibility behind your back. Then lied about it, creating a narrative only around the COVID evolved from nature theory. A theory the corporate media sold, further spreading the official narrative. Oddly, the media who used to bill themselves as the fourth estate of government because they didn't trust the government is doing the government's bidding by reporting everything the government says as fact. Instead, if they dug deeper, they'd find out the elites are using them as mouthpieces for whatever narrative makes the elites look best.

So now we may never be able to get the proof out of China because the media's conspiring to label the theory the scientists discussed a conspiracy theory. Reality has set in. Science's reputation has been damaged. Things that were promised to end COVID didn't. Promised to put the pandemic behind us haven't come to fruition. There's confusion about vaccines, boosters, masks, and official policies. Fauci and Collins' true legacy is furthering the divide in America and causing massive amounts of distrust in the NIH, NIAH, CDC, FDA and science. Their attempts to control the damage didn't work. And their cover-up has caused more damage than we can currently measure.
