This week, world-famous singer, Seal, called out Oprah on Instagram for her hypocrisy. He posted a meme, which included pics of Oprah and Harvey Weinstein with the following caption:
“Oh I forgot, that's right... You’d heard the rumors but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed [sic] actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad. #SanctimoniousHollywood”
What are we watching here, folks? Could it be? Are we seeing the left crumble?
Wednesday, January 10th, world-infamous former comedian Chelsea Handler went full homophobic in an attempt to call out South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham. In a tweet, Handler alleged that Graham is secretly gay and implied that he is being blackmailed by President Trump:
"Holy, f**k f**k,” Handler tweeted. "I just [sic] the video of trumps bipartisan "meeting" yesterday. Hey, Lindsey Graham what kind of dick sucking video do they have on you for you 2 be acting like this? Wouldn’t coming out be more honorable?"
Nasty.
The response was riveting. Handler got her assets handed to her. She exposed herself as a homophobic hypocrite, and the left spared no venom towards her.
I ask again: What are we watching here? Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy watching the left eat itself but there might be something else going on. For years the left has been able to neutralize conservatives by forcing them to live up to their own standards; they have accused the right of being homophobic, sexist and misogynist. However, in their mad efforts to discredit Trump, look at what happens when those who have no standards expose themselves as the very thing they criticize?
There is almost nothing Americans hate more than hypocrisy, and the hypocrisy of the left, it seems, might be its undoing. So, what do we have to do to make sure it is?
Nothing.
