Trade wars can be a dangerous game to play in the world of the economy.
However President Trump seems to think that if he can win a war of attrition with China that America can withstand it and take down their opponents by waiting them out and thriving through this boom period.
Will this backfire?
Potentially yes.
Even though Trump hates to lose and publicly shows that losing is not in his DNA, he will recover, rebound and be stronger for it.
The success that is the strong economy of the United States under Donald Trump should be utilized to the advantage of Trump on a global scale with trade. What is wrong with that?
A strong weapon like the economy in the hands of a strong man like Donald Trump...sounds like a winning combo to me.
