The minimum wage increase vote was going to showcase yet another example of partisan politics at its finest with Democrats and Republicans staying with their party on important votes.
And then AZ Senator Kyrsten Sinema decided to be anything but unconventional and gives an overt "thumbs down" to that very notion. Did it remind anyone of a similar hand gesture that AZ Senator John McCain gave during the important Obamacare vote?
Does this mean anything long term? Time will tell.
Was this done purely as a political move by Sen. Sinema or was she actually thinking of what was best for the people of Arizona? Again the answer remains that time will tell.
One thing it did for sure is it got people talking about what else is going to happen next!
