The relationship between the United States and Cuba may now have a distinct opportunity to do something it has not done in decades---have meaningful change. Why? The Castro reign in Cuba is over! Does this mean anything is going to truly change? Probably not!
However the real question is how will the Democrats in the United States react to this news? Will they be sad that someone they see as a like-minded ally is now out of power? Will they seek to put someone in who is even more radical to continue the relationship at the level it has been in for decades? Will they cherish the times they had with overbearing leadership?
The Left saw the Castro regime very much like looking in the mirror. Control to the max without any real regard to who they step on along the way.
