Drug Dealers And Homeless Vagrants Harass Local Business Owner

In March, Phoenix police asked for help identifying two suspects who set a local restaurant on fire. The attack happened about 3:30 in the morning in late February. Francisco Perez and his wife are the owners of the Bread and Honey House restaurant. Good honest, salt-of-the-earth-God fearing people.

Surveillance video shows two people walking around the restaurant and finally throwing three glass bottles filled with gasoline, commonly referred to as “Molotov Cocktails,” onto the roof of the restaurant. The incident cost thousands of dollars in damage.

One of the suspects is described as a white male, short in height, wearing shorts, a dark jacket, a face covering, and shoes with white soles. The second suspect is described as a white male, 5’10” to 6’ tall, wearing dark sweatpants, a dark jacket with white/silver stripes down the sleeves, gray slip-on shoes, and dark gloves. They left the scene in an unknown vehicle.

Francisco Perez owns the restaurant and said he takes this attack personally. “I think as a cook and chef, you put in so much effort, while working day and night sometimes. It is passion,” Perez said. "I couldn't believe someone actually took it that far and set a building on fire."

After seeing flames in his surveillance video, Francisco Perez says he is actually thankful. That's because two of the three Molotov cocktails tossed onto the roof rolled to the ground. The third, though, still caused plenty of damage.
