A bill moving throw the Arizona legislature would protect property owners. Under House Bill 2263 renters would have just 60 days after ending their tenancy to receive their deposit or protest charges.
If renters do not ask for the deposit back in those two months or dispute the landlords charges there would be no further recourse.
Opponents says the bill infringes on the right's of renters.
