(Goodyear, AZ) A student at a high school in the west Valley was taken into custody today after bringing weapons to campus. Goodyear Police say the boy brought a gun and knives to Estrella Foothills High School. A message on the school's website said all students are safe. School officials learned through the Anonymous Alerts system about 8:25 this morning that a student had a handgun on campus. After removing him from class, a search of the boy's backpack found an unloaded gun, a full magazine and three knives. The student was taken into custody without incident.
