Déjà vu Justice Ginsberg Channels John McCain

It is déjà vu all over again. First it was John McCain now it’s Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

There was a time in the not too recent past when people who could no longer perform their duties recognized their obligation to the world and made room for those who could bring a new life and energy and worldview to the table.

It appears those days are long gone. Modern medicine and arrogance have replaced common damn sense and common damn decency. Today it’s about power, period. That’s why Sen. John McCain hung around long after his viability to keep his seat in Never Trump-er hands and why Ruth Bader Ginsberg will most like hold the seat in the Supreme court as long as possible even though she can’t perform her duties.

I wish her a speedy recovery but wish politics wouldn’t keep her from retiring.
