(Phoenix, AZ) -- The Arizona Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case that could decide whether marijuana extracts are legal under the state's medical marijuana law. Rodney Jones is appealing his conviction and sentence for a fraction of ounce of hashish in his car. He maintains he is protected because he had a valid medical marijuana card. Lower courts have denied the protection, saying its not implicitly spelled out in the law.
