(Phoenix, AZ) -- A new poll commissioned by the Greater Phoenix Chamber finds almost half of likely Phoenix voters support a city plan to pay for renovations at Talking Stick Resort Arena after they learn more about where the money will come from. OH Predictive Insights Pollster Mike Noble says the 493 people surveyed by telephone were first asked their opinion on the issue and then told that the money would be provided from a fund that comes primarily from hotel and rental car taxes. He says after people were given additional information, many changed their minds, with 49-percent ultimately supporting the proposal.
