President George W. Bush won the 2000 election by less than 600 votes in the state of Florida. In 2004, he won re-election by winning Ohio. Democrats weren't happy.
So they objected. On the House and Senate floor.

Here's how full of hypocrisy the Democrats are.
Democrats argue Republicans objecting to the 2020 election results is dangerous to our democracy (Technically, the U.S. is a Representative Republic, not a democracy). Several Republicans, including Arizona Congressmen Andy Biggs and Paul Gosar, say there were too many voting irregularities to certify the results.
Which is the same thing some of these same Democrats who didn't want the Electoral College vote certified in said in 2000 or 2004.
Bottom line is, don't believe their hype. Or CNN's.
