The goalposts are moving again.
The COVID shots were our way out of this pandemic. If you received two doses of Pfizer or Moderna's COVID shots you were 'fully vaccinated. Getting two doses proved 95% effective at preventing you from getting and transmitting COVID.
That is no longer the case.
In Arizona, 14% of COVID cases in July were breakthrough cases. We aren't even sure how accurate this number is because the CDC openly said they only wanted to track breakthrough cases if they resulted in hospitalization or death.
Now, two shots can't be considered 'fully vaccinated.' Nope. You have to get your booster third shot to now be 'fully vaccinated.'
