Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Red Bird Farms’ owner Mareo Torito has always been involved with the rapidly-changing food industry and continues to influence the way we think about our chicken dinners today.
A food industry veteran of almost 50 years, Torito purchased Red Bird Farms in 1991. Through effective marketing campaigns and a continued commitment to providing quality products, he has grown Red Bird Farms into a brand trusted and loved by thousands of households and restaurants.
Prior to owning Red Bird Farms, Torito owned a beef distribution company called International Food Processors (IFP). He also is the owner of the Colorado-based restaurant Kokoro.
