CDC Removes Defensive Gun Stats

Democrats have been pushing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to label gun violence a public health epidemic. This would give Democrats more power to enact gun control measures. And they want that power.

Which is why it's very interesting to learn the CDC withdrew data showing how many Americans use firearms to defend themselves every year. The data that was thrown out said 2.5 million times Americans use a firearm for a defensive purpose.

That number is too high to the gun control crowd.

From Fox News:

"[T]hat 2.5 Million number needs to be killed, buried, dug up, killed again and buried again," Mark Bryant, executive director of the Gun Violence Archive, wrote to the CDC in one of the emails. "It is highly misleading, is used out of context and I honestly believe it has zero value — even as an outlier point in honest DGU discussions."

This is part of the CDC's plan to market gun control to America. By deleting data.
