The Arizona Cardinals have signed former ASU Sun Devil running back and Scottsdale native DJ Foster. Foster has been on New England Patriots practice squad. Because of that he's eligible to sign on to a team's 53-man roster. The Foster signing comes after the Redbirds RB David Johnson's wrist injury. He could miss several games.
Foster could potentially fill the void along with other running backs Andre Ellington and Kerwynn Williams. Foster played in three regular season games for the Patriots last season. He went to Saguaro HS.
