Arizona Joining Multi-State Equifax Investigation

Arizona is joining a multi-state investigation into the credit-reporting firm Equifax, over its recent massive data breach.  Attorney General Mark Brnovich says Arizona is one of 32 states calling for Equifax to stop enrolling people in its fee-based credit monitoring service in the wake of the data breach impacting 143 million people.  He says Equifax shouldn't profit from a problem it created, and that consumers, who are at no fault in this situation, should not have to pay for credit monitoring to keep an eye on any misuse of their personal information.
