Senator John McCain Supports New Healthcare Bill

(Washington, D.C.)  Republicans hope to bring their latest healthcare proposal to the senate floor next week.  The bill would replace Obamacare funding with federal grants to states.  Arizona Senator John McCain says he supports the proposal, but still has some questions about the funding formula.  Arizona Senator Jeff Flake and Governor Doug Ducey also support the Graham Cassidy bill.  Democrats say it would remove protections for pre-existing conditions and make deep cuts in Medicaid. The Senate could pass it by the end of the month with a simple majority.  After that, the bill would need 60 votes to pass.  That's unlikely to happen.
