A former daycare worker in Phoenix is heading to jail. Lillie Adams was sentenced to 30-days in jail for using a broomstick to hit a toddler in the head several times in February. Adams will also spend three years on probation after the attack at the Brighter Angels facility near Central and Baseline.
This incident led to the disturbing alleged cover-up by the daycare and three employees were arrested. As of right now the daycare is still running but the state may put an end to that soon.
