A man in his pajamas may have saved a cop's life in northern Arizona. The Lakeside man says he heard some loud noises outside his home the other night and they ended up being a shootout between cops and a suspect.
An officer was hit in the leg and the man sprang into action, grabbing a belt from his house and using it as a tourniquet. The man has no medical training but says he knew enough to know his belt might keep the officer alive.
The cop is said to be doing okay and the man says all he wants in return is to shake the officer's hand for protecting the community.
