A Tempe man is in trouble with the law for allegedly going high-tech while stalking his ex-girlfriend. The 27-year-old was arrested earlier this week for allegedly using an electronic tracking device to follow his ex-girlfriend around town.
The ex and a friend grew concerned after seeing Joseph Maki [[ mah-KIE ]] show up at different spots, so they searched the undercarriage of her car and found the device.
When the device was in the hands of police, they activated it and Maki was seen nearby shortly after and arrested. Maki is reportedly awaiting trial in California for allegedly stalking a different woman.
