Arizona Public Service customers will continue to have higher bills, for now. The Arizona Supreme Court decided Tuesday not to get involved in the over three-percent rate hike recently approved by APS.
Another lawsuit pending next week is asking a judge to rule that APS executives should have been subpoenaed to determine if the company was really entitled to collect an additional seven-million-dollars a month from customers. If the judge rules with the plaintiff in that case, the entire rate increase case could be reheard from scratch.
