(Phoenix, AZ) -- A new development in the case of Cathryn Gorospe, the valley teacher who disappeared earlier this month. The Yavapai County Medical Examiner's office has confirmed that a body found in Mayer last Friday is that of Cathryn Gorospe. They were able to positively identify her through dental records. The Arrowhead Elementary kindergarten teacher was last seen two Fridays ago, bailing Charlie Malzahn out of the Coconino County Jail. Police say they consider Malzahn a suspect in Gorospe's murder, but he hasn't been charged yet. He is being held in a Phoenix jail on unrelated charges.
