Amazon Is Adding Jobs In The Valley

Amazon plans to create new jobs in the Valley.  The company now employs more than 6,000 people and plans to add another 1,000 workers.  

According to the "Phoenix Business Journal," those workers will be added at fulfillment centers in Goodyear, Phoenix and Chandler along with corporate operations in Tempe.  Amazon said the company has added more than $900-million to the regional economy between 2011 and 2016 and helped create 18,000 jobs.
