Folks in Arizona are getting sick. The Arizona Department of Health Services says 92 flu cases have officially been confirmed statewide. They also say a majority of those cases were confirmed just last week.
The flu season officially started in the beginning of October, but some people were diagnosed as far back as August. Symptoms of the flu include fever, sore throat, runny nose, headache and fatigue.
Health officials say the flu is highly contagious, but flu shots can help ward it off.
