An East Valley DUI task force is ready to hit the streets over the Halloween weekend. Officers from Chandler, Mesa and Scottsdale will begin their Halloween Task Force saturation patrols on Saturday that will run through Halloween night on Tuesday.
The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety is helping foot the bill.
The goal of the Halloween Task Force is to remove impaired drivers from the road before their bad decision leads to tragic consequences for themselves and their victims.
Please remember to always wear your seatbelt and either designate a driver or call for a ride when alcohol consumption is a part of your Halloween celebration.
