(Phoenix, AZ) -- Governor Doug Ducey speaks at a tax cut rally at the state capitol today (Monday). Ducey says he wants to see Washington act on tax cuts by the end of the year. But he points out he's not endorsing the Republican tax plan passed by the house last week. He says he still doesn't know enough of the specifics of the bill to make that call. He does says it is time right now to make our tax code simpler and fairer. A couple of dozen of tax cut supporters attended the rally, along with about the same number of protesters who say the Republican tax plan favors corporations and the wealthy. The rally was organized by the Job Creators Network, a business advocacy group that is traveling around the country, holding similar rallies.
