The Department of Public Safety is on the hunt for speeders. Starting this week, DPS troopers will be going after folks for speeding under a new program called "No Need For Speed."
The program will run for the next 30 days and officials are calling it a "zero-tolerance" crackdown on people driving even a mile or two faster than the posted speed limit.
The idea is to try to educate people that speeding isn't the answer even if you are running late to work.
