The Buckeye Police Department is getting the warning out on Twitter before a sirens test at the Palo Verde nuclear plant.
Fifty-eight outdoor warning sirens located within the ten mile emergency planning zone will be tested during the lunch hour on Wednesday. Once at noon and again at 12:30 to ensure they are working properly.
Electronic message signs along the I-10 in the West Valley will notify drivers of the federal required test.
The sirens are part of the federal alert and notification system.
