Ducey Wants VA To Speed Up Veteran Home Funding

Governor Doug Ducey is asking the Veteran's Affairs secretary to speed up funding for veteran housing.

Arizona has two veteran home facilities, one in Phoenix another in Tucson.  The state is facing a bed shortage in the next three years and already put up the money to build two more homes in Flagstaff and Yuma.

The Governor is asking VA Secretary David Shulkin to speed up the process to match the 19-million in funds.

Ducey is also pressing for another veteran's home in the state.
