MLB Catcher Expected To Enter Plea On Gun Charge

The Oakland A's catcher accused of pointing a gun at a delivery driver is due in court today. Bruce Maxwell is expected to enter a plea today. 

A grand jury indicted Maxwell stemming from his October 28th arrest in Scottsdale, Arizona. Maxwell faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct.  

Maxwell made headlines in September when he became the first Major League Baseball player to take a knee during the national anthem.
