Know Your Dose As Cold And Flu Season Hits

As cold and flu season ramps up in the state, health officials are warning that a popular drug can be dangerous if you take too much.

The drug is called acetaminophen and it's in more than 600 prescriptions and over the counter medications.

If you're taking one medication with the drug, taking another that also contains it could result in an overdose.  The recommended dose is four-thousand milligrams in a 24-hour period, so check the labels of all medications and make sure you're not taking too much.
