For the first time we are hearing from an eye witness to a deadly crash on a Phoenix sidewalk. The crash killed the wife of a Maricopa County Sheriff's deputy sergeant and left his 11-year old daughter injured.
A man who lives nearby says he witnessed the whole thing and pulled the driver out of his pickup. He tells Fox 10 that the guy was speaking nonsense and the voices in his head made him do it.
Other witnesses say the mom and daughter were walking to get their mail Wednesday when the crash happened.
The driver remains behind bars and faces murder charges.
