A teenage boy is dead and an illegal immigrant is behind bars after an accidental shooting. The 17-year old was shot in the head while his 18-year-old buddy was playing with a handgun inside a Phoenix home. The man didn't think the gun was loaded, but pulled the trigger and the gun went off.
Police say the immigrant originally told them the teen shot himself, but after talking with the man something wasn't adding up and the guy came clean.
The shooting happened Thursday night at a home near Thomas Road and 67th Avenue.
