Despite a ban by the City of Phoenix, a Christmas tree returns to the top of Camelback Mountain.
The tree is back up this Christmas season after Phoenix Parks and Recreation took down the Christmas tree last year citing safety and environmental reasons. The city was concerned about glass and metal ornaments along the trail.
This year, "Camelback Santa," has placed a sign on the tree telling hikers to not bring any ornaments.
