Arizona Senator John McCain is facing some Twitter backlash after asking for more followers.
The hashtag "Unfollow McCain" spread on the social media site pushing the Senator away from his goal of three million followers. Most folks who used the hashtag said they were upset with McCain over his tax reform vote.
McCain lost about 12,000 followers after making the plea when he was only 74 followers away on making the milestone.
As of right now, McCain still hasn't hit his mark, but he has been tweeting about the Phoenix CitySkate being one of the top outdoor skating rinks in the nation.
