An investigation within the Arizona House of Representatives is concluding that an allegation of misconduct against Minority House Leader Rebecca Rios was politically motivated.
Last month, fellow Democrat Representative Ray Martinez, alleged Rios had an inappropriate relationship with a security staffer at the capitol.
Ethics chairman Eddie Farnsworth says Martinez provided no evidence to support the allegation.
According to the "Arizona Republic," much of Martinez's complaint focused on Rios' refusal to endorse him for re-election.
