New Test For Valley Fever Approved By FDA

There's a new test that can detect Valley Fever in a matter of hours.  Valley Fever is a microscopic fungus commonly found in soil and sometimes known as Arizona's disease.

People can get it by breathing it in, but TGen, also known as the Translational Genomics Research Institute, has created a test that can find out of you have Valley Fever by taking a respiratory specimen.

Officials at TGen say they can figure out if you have Valley Fever in about two hours and it was recently approved by the FDA.
