The president and publisher of the "Arizona Republic" says she's stepping down to teach at The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State.
In January Miai Parrish becomes the inaugural "Sue Clark-Johnson" Professor.
Parrish says her teaching will focus on writing, speaking and collaborating in the digital age.
Her new professorship honors the late pioneering publisher and professor who helped paved the way for women in the news industry.
