Steve Wilks is officially head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. The team announced Wilks' hiring today, replacing the retiring Bruce Arians.
Wilks received a four year contract with a team option for a fifth. He comes to Arizona from Carolina where he was the Panthers defensive coordinator.
Cardinals defensive back Patrick Peterson is thrilled about the news tweeting he loves the hire.
Wilks is expected to be formally introduced tomorrow.
