Self Driving Semis On Arizona Roads

Three self-driving semi-trucks are on the road in Arizona and more are on the way.  ABC 15 reports a Chinese startup is testing out self-driving semis equipped with cameras and radars that allow them to see more than 650-feet down the road.

The company is reportedly planning to have 25 self-driving trucks running on I-10 between Phoenix and Tucson by the end of this year.

There is still someone behind the wheel to make sure nothing goes wrong.

The company, TuSimple, is partnering with a commercial shipping company in the fall to start hauling goods along the I-10.
