Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs is saying nobody really wants the program that grants legal work status to undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. when they were kids.
The Republican lawmaker from Gilbert tells ABC 15 that recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program actually prefer the DREAM Act and its path to citizenship.
Biggs is not supportive of either, instead preferring the focus of building a border wall, a topic that he campaigned on. However, he says he might be willing to consider reforms similar to DACA when the border with Mexico is secured.
