Mesa Mayor John Giles says he would welcome new funding to shore up crumbling roads and bridges. Giles and other mayors met with Trump at the White House during last week's U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting in Washington.
During the 2016 campaign, Trump said he would spend one-trillion dollars to repair the nation's infrastructure system.
