Folks driving along Interstate 10 near Casa Grande, Arizona may be surprised who is cleaning up the road. The Satanic Temple of Arizona has now adopted a two-mile stretch of the interstate and will be responsible for picking up trash and maintaining the road for the next year.
Members say they reached out to the Department of Transportation last summer and the process was fairly simple. The group was recently approved and members have been putting on bright orange and green vests and have been keeping the road clear of trash.
Officials with the temple say adopting a highway gives them a chance to promote the group.
