Phoenix police can make some improvements when it comes to communicating during major protests. Results on an internal investigation were released Monday surrounding the violent clash between protesters and officers this past August when President Trump came to town.
The report states officers need to do a better job at contacting the groups behind demonstrations and use social media before shooting off tear gas.
The "AZ Republic" is reporting that Police Chief Jeri Williams believes she could do a better job at warning the public about what behavior is acceptable and what isn't.
