Arizona's legislature is introducing the first bipartisan bill to update the State's non-discrimination statute.
House Bill 2586 will extend protections to gay and transgender Arizonans in employment, housing and public accommodations.
Five municipalities presently have ordinances that ban discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, however there is no statewide law.
