Dreamers Gain An Unlikely Ally

(Washington, D.C.)  --  Attorney General Mark Brnovich's effort to deny "dreamers" driver's licenses is getting no help from the Trump administration.  The Arizona Capitol Times reports the Justice Department is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to allow a ruling by the Circuit Court of Appeals to stand.  That court voided an Arizona policy that denies DACA recipients from getting a valid driver's license, the court citing that it is legally wrong.  Back in 2012 then-Governor Jan Brewer issued an executive order telling the state Department of Transportation not to issue licenses to those accepted into DACA program.
