Lawmakers Pushing For Violence Task Force

Lawmakers in Arizona are pushing for a school violence prevention task force.  More than half of the state's lawmakers recently signed a letter asking Governor Doug Ducey for a group that will potentially stop a school shooting in Arizona.

The lawmakers want a task force to write up protocols for identifying troubled students at risk of inflicting violence upon others, and ways to get them help.  Ducey says he's considering the proposal.

The push comes just days after an active gunman killed 17 people at a school in Florida before getting arrested.
